BIO
I came to Our Lady of Victory in 2008 after teaching for the Chicago Public Schools for 22 years. Prior to that I taught out of state. Throughout my teaching career I have taught a wide variety of students. While I hold both regular and special education certificates, the majority of my teaching experience has been with special needs students. I earned my Bachelor's Degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana and my Master's at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. I feel very fortunate to be teaching at OLV. The faculty is dedicated and the students are well-behaved and motivated. I thoroughly enjoy the group of students I teach. I have two daughters and five grandchildren. I share a two-flat with my younger daughter and her family. Both of her children attend OLV. My other daughter lives in Springfield. Although it is a long drive, I manage to see them four to five times a year. In my spare time I like to garden, read, and travel whenever I get the opportunity. I look forward to a long association with Our Lady of Victory School.
