Principal's Welcome

Committed to Excellence in Education

Our Lady of Victory is a Catholic School which provides each student with a superior education – one that develops his or her individual, spiritual, intellectual, physical and cultural potential to the full extent.

Rooted in Catholic traditions, our school provides a diverse and inclusive environment and an exemplary academic curriculum, thus enabling the student to become an educated and vital member of the Christian and secular community.  We are a constant reminder to our neighboring communities that Catholic education instills in the student values and ideals essential for Christian living in a contemporary society.

We, the faculty and administration, provide a safe and healthy environment and a contemporary, challenging academic curriculum.  Most of all, we commit ourselves to fostering the unique talents and potential of each childThe Best Practices in Education, along with the nine instructional strategies of Robert Marzano, help us to meet the needs of our 21st century students.  Teachers and parents share responsibility with the student for his or her spiritual, moral, and academic growth.  We strive to inspire an attitude of leadership and a manner of self-giving for a future of service to the Church and society.

We support an ongoing curriculum that is designed to enhance individual development while fostering participation in the faith community through prayer, worship and action.  At OLV, our primary goal is to empower students to identify and solve problems. Classes center on Inquiry Based Learning, a method by which teams of students explore real-world problems in a hands-on environment. Teachers act as guides, posing questions and encouraging the students to find the answers. This approach helps students develop critical thinking skills that will be valuable for the rest of their lives.

We welcome you to visit OLV!  Our doors are always open.

Blessings,

Mrs. Jennifer Hodge
