My name is Sister Mary Zachary, O.P. and I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. I am a Springfield Illinois Dominican Sister giving dedicated service in the ministry of Catholic Education in the Dioceses of Chicago and Springfield Illinois as a teacher and principal (K-8). I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from St. Ambrose College in Davenport, Iowa and my MA in Administration/Supervision from the University of Illinois in Champaign, IL. I was hired at OLV in August of 2011 and my goals are to provide a program that is academically strong with an emphasis on Catholic identity of the school. I want to build on the strong foundation of the school and move the school into a 21^st Century giving students the skills and strategies they need to meet the expectations of the global world.
